Oden Done: Again

You gotta feel for Greg Oden.

The number 1 pick in 2007 for the Portland Trailblazers went down with a broken left patella on December 5th. The MRI shows the injury will require surgery, and Oden will miss the rest of the season.

Everything seemed to finally be going the big man's way this year. Through 20 games, Oden has averaged 11.8 points per game, along with career highs in rebounds (8.2), and field goal percentage (63.0).

In 3 seasons in the NBA, Oden has only played 82 out of 246 games for Portland. His rookie season ended abruptly when a bone chip in his right knee kept him inactive, and in 2008-09 he saw multiple injuries that kept him out of 20 games.
"I'm obviously disappointed having worked so hard to get to where I was," said Oden. "This is a setback, but I'll be back. It's in God's hands now. "
